Zoe Yadira Saldaña Nazario is an American actress and a trained dancer. She was born on June 19, 1978 and is crazy about ballet. Her affiliation with theatre group named “FACES” came out to be quite fruitful for her. Its a well known theater group for pulling off plays that targets young audience and aims at influencing them in all possible positive ways. This group bagged her debut role in Law & Order (1999). However she became a popular face with films like Center Stage (2000) and Crossroads (2002). Anamaria in Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003) or Avatar (2009) gave her all the needed attention and collected huge amounts. Avatar turned the tables for her in this industry and paved way for several other roles. But Avatar made everyone think clear that no one was going to stop speculating that she underwent some surgeries to look her best.
The way she carries herself clearly states that she has utmost respect for her community and is proud to be tanned. She has no inferiority complex for complexion. Thus there is no doubt as to why she leaves no stone unturned to clear the rumours. She made out of the opportunity while talking to Complex Magazine and clearly chided on the ideas that puts women into the space where they hate their natural bodies and feel inferior or undesirable and end up falling a prey of their plastic surgeons and bear endless pain of undergoing a knife. She resents at the idea of calling “Wooing men a duty of women”. She made it that she was not interpreted in a wrong and said she is not against cosmetic help but really appreciates and promotes the importance of embracing natural beauty. On her sudden outburst over this topic, only added further to the humming rumours. People thought this to be a counter move on her part in order to dampen the current speculations over her altered looks.
Zoe Saldana is not like those stars who opts to stay quite, she rather answers while presenting her thoughts distinctively over such kind of an issue. Thus it’s quite obvious that there is no confirmation from her side however her body speaks of the following surgeries.
1. Breast augmentation
Zoe clearly mentions that she was flat and if now she undergoes the changes, there wont be anything natural now. However her niples looks well placed and her breast is pumped in a better way than before. She even admitted that she admired heavy butt as a teenager but now thinks less of these fascinations.
The most appreciated point ever raised by Avatar actress on the trend of going under the knife was “she clearly mentioned that she has no problem with the trend that’s going haywire especially amongst Hollywood stars but rather feels the intention behind these bold decision must be self satisfaction instead of an attempt to put an impression on others. For once if you pay heed to her words, they are completely overpowering and quite convincing. But the public is also rigid and has stopped judging her on the basis of her words. These contemplations won’t end.
2. Post pregnancy surgery
Post pregnancy surgeries are getting into the line especially for women who want an elongated career in the fashion world. They help women to get back into shape after pregnancy. Zoe even openly gave her opinion over this on “The Conversation with Amanda de Cadenet,” she thought it’s okay to go under good deal of surgeries like that of breast implant and liposuction if that’s needed to get back to work when the type of your job demands so.
