This review is from my daughter. She told me over a year ago that if she ever got pregnant again, she wanted a Fetal Doppler! Those of you who follow me on social media and read the blog on a regular basis, know that she lost 2 babies in 2012.
In October, my daughter was feeling sick, she wanted to go to her GYN to make sure everything was OK and to see if all was good for them to start trying to have a baby. All was good! On the way home, we saw what looked like a baby angel in the clouds. I told my daughter, if that’s not a go ahead sign, I don’t know what is!
In November, about 4 weeks later, they found out she was 4 weeks pregnant, a high risk case and was prescribed Progesterone to help keep the baby. My daughter has a hormone problem which is why she miscarried twice. The only thing she asked me for was a Fetal Doppler! So I started to reach out to companies to get her one and Fair Haven Health (the first company) said yes and let my daughter review their AngelSounds Fetal Doppler. My daughter was so excited! The day it arrived, she couldn’t wait to try it out.
Instructions: Take the 9 volt battery (inside Doppler) out and unwrap it, connect to the Doppler, then connect either the headphones that come with the Doppler or if you can, connect your speakers to your computer and everyone in the room can hear it :) Now it’s not as loud like when you have a sonogram done. We didn’t realize to take the battery out and unwrap it! We actually thought the battery was DEAD! LOL
My Daughter’s Review:
First of all, I want to say thank you so much Fair Haven Health for allowing me to test their product.
Having two miscarriages in 2012 within a 5 month time span, made me real uneasy with this pregnancy. Having the Fetal Doppler to listen to our baby’s heartbeat has helped my husband and I stop worrying and stressing so much. We just found out that we are expecting a baby girl!
I am 19 weeks and enjoying every minute of this pregnancy a little more than I would have without the Doppler (although morning sickness wasn’t too much of a joy! ;)).
The Fetal Doppler didn’t come with the gel, so it was a little tricky to figure out what to use. We used, water and vitamin E, then after some research I found that using lotion was the best way. I can now find the baby’s heartbeat within seconds. Having the AngelSounds Fetal Doppler from Fair Haven Health at home is such a blessing. I get to listen to my baby every day!
Little Gracen’s Heart Beat!
